These rules apply to both individual KYC and business KYB.
Formats and size
- Accepted formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG.
- Maximum size: 16 MB per file.
- Uploading a document of the same type as an existing one replaces it: versions do not accumulate.
- Documents are stored encrypted.
Front and back
The back of the document is required, except when the chosen type is a passport (a passport is a single page/image). For national ID cards, driver's licenses and similar, both sides are requested.
Document expiry date
The expiry date is optional.
- If your document never expires, leave the field blank. This is the case, for example, with the Bolivian national ID card of people over 60, which is valid indefinitely, and with other documents that do not expire. There is no need to enter an invented date or a very distant one.
- If you do enter a date, the picker only accepts today's date or later. If your document has already expired, you must renew it before verifying.
The same applies to each related person's (UBO) document in KYB.
