Choose your account type

Registration no longer asks whether you operate as a person or as a company. That choice is made afterwards, on a screen of its own: the first one you see when you sign in for the first time.

Choosing there is more than ticking a box. The choice sets your account type, the role you operate with and —if you choose Company— the business team created for you, as well as which verification applies to you: KYC or KYB.

The documents you will be asked for

The screen shows you the list before you choose, so you know what you are taking on.

If you choose Individual:

- Identity document: valid ID card or passport, legible on both sides.
- Proof of address in your name, matching the one you register (max. 3 months old).
- Source of funds: last 3 bank statements, only over USD 50,000 a month.

If you choose Company:

- Incorporation deed: legible copy of the company's incorporation document.
- Commercial registry: current registration issued by SEPREC.
- Tax ID (NIT): up-to-date tax registration certificate.
- Power of attorney: notarized and current, proving powers of representation.
- Bylaws or internal rules: current document with the organizational structure and legal powers.
- ID card or passport of partners holding 20% or more, controllers and authorized signatories.
- Ownership structure: official document listing all partners and their percentages.
- Proof of legal address: utility bill or bank statement in the company's name (max. 3 months).
- Proof of economic activity: recent sales or purchase/supplier invoices.

The choice is made once. After you confirm it, only the Prismapay compliance team can undo it: if you picked the wrong path, contact support before going any further with the verification.

What happens after you choose

You land in the matching verification flow, starting at its first step. You can leave and come back whenever you want — whatever you complete is saved as a draft.
