Verify a receipt

Every transaction has a unique verification code, and the PDF receipt carries it printed alongside a QR code. It is there so a third party —a supplier, an accountant, a bank— can confirm that the receipt you showed them is real and not an edited PDF.

How it is verified

1. Whoever receives the receipt scans the QR code on the PDF, or opens the verification link.
2. The link opens the receipt generated by Prismapay right then, straight from the system.
3. If what opens matches the paper in their hand, the receipt is genuine.

No login or Prismapay account is needed to open it. The link is signed: the amount, date or recipient cannot be altered by editing the address, because any change invalidates the signature and the link stops working.

Where to get the link

From the transaction history, in each operation's detail, next to the receipt download.

What it shows and what it does not

The link shows that receipt only: the operation, its amount, its date and its code. It gives no access to your account, your balances or any other transaction.

The same idea exists on the international transfers side, in two forms: the receipt with a certificate code and the shareable status link, which lets someone follow a transfer's progress without exposing sensitive data.
