Documents and notes

Each transfer can carry one document and one note. They are there to keep the supporting paperwork next to the operation it explains: the invoice being paid, the contract, the purchase order, or simply what the payment was for.

The document

- Accepted formats: PNG, JPG or JPEG.
- Maximum size: 10 MB.
- There is one per transfer: uploading another one replaces it, they do not stack up.
- It can be downloaded at any time from the transfer's detail.

The note

Free text of up to 5,000 characters. It is saved and edited separately from the document: changing the note does not touch the attached file, and uploading a file does not erase the note.

Who sees it

The document and the note are visible to anyone who can see that transfer within your account —including whoever has to review or approve it—. Each one records who uploaded it.

This is the natural place for the backup a reviewer or approver needs before authorizing. Attaching the invoice when the transfer is created saves the back-and-forth of asking for it later through another channel.

It is different from the personal note on a crypto transaction in the wallet history, which is a reminder to yourself of up to 500 characters.
